Rajanukul Institute, the governmental agency under the Department of Mental Health, MOPH, has a policy to extend our services to people in community and provides knowledge, services, early intervention and child skills training with proper methods. Our main mission is academic development with the emphasis on research with the key goal to raise the better quality of lives of the intellectually and developmentally disabled people, living their lives with dignity equally to others in society.

Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore (MINDS)

The MINDS was founded in May 1962 by a group of philanthropists who saw the need to provide equal opportunities for children with intellectual disabilities to receive education and later, to be integrated as contributing and responsible citizens in Singapore. Since the start of 2016, MINDS was appointed by the National Council for Social Service (NCSS) as the service administrators for the Appropriate Adult (AA) programme which provides support to persons with intellectual disability or mental illness for interviews/investigations.
